Each piece is intricately handcrafted using Swarovski crystals and vintage fabrics.The fashion minded husband and wife team behind accessories label Deepa Gurnani, keeps it simple with a Swarovski crystal embellished headband. Made of three separate rows of crystals between a black trimmed band.
The handcrafted headband has vintage floral backing fabric as well as an elasticized strap at the end. Doubled headband is 1/2"wide x 18" long.
This New York-based hair accessories line was launched in 2006 by Indian-born master beader, Deepa Gurnani, and her jewelry designer husband, Jay Lakhani.
A Central Saint Martins graduate, Gurnani, honed her craft embellishing couture for Alexander McQueen, Fendi and Emanuel Ungaro. This striking line of headbands artfully combines exotic cultural influences with super-luxe retro-chic appeal.
